What is Weekday Windfall?

Weekday Windfall is Australia's exciting weekday lottery, launched in May 2024 as a refreshed replacement for the original Monday and Wednesday Lotto. The key upgrade: a third Friday draw was added, giving Australians three chances every week to win $1 million.

Using a 6/45 format, players select 6 numbers from 1 to 45. The Division 1 prize is a fixed $1 million per winner — meaning you don't share the jackpot if there are multiple winners (up to 6). With three draws per week and excellent overall odds of 1 in 44, Weekday Windfall offers some of the best winning frequency of any Australian lottery.

💡 Key Difference from Other Lotteries: Weekday Windfall's Division 1 prize is $1 million per winner — not shared between winners. Up to 6 players can each receive the full $1 million in the same draw (total maximum payout of $6 million per draw).

Double Your Win Days

🎉 Double Your Win — Prizes Doubled!

From time to time, Weekday Windfall runs special Double Your Win draw events (called Double Win Days in Western Australia). On these special draws, prize amounts for Divisions 2 through 6 are doubled — giving you twice the payout for the same entry cost!

Note: The Division 1 prize remains $1 million per winner during Double Your Win events — only lower division prizes are doubled. Keep an eye on The Lott app and website for upcoming Double Your Win draw announcements.

📲 Tip: Subscribe to The Lott notifications to get alerted about upcoming Double Your Win days and special draw events so you never miss out!
🔢
How Supplementary Numbers Work

In every Weekday Windfall draw, 8 balls are drawn in total from a barrel of 45:

  • The first 6 balls are the main winning numbers
  • The next 2 balls are supplementary numbers, drawn from the remaining 39 balls

Supplementary numbers apply to Divisions 2, 5, and 6. They give you additional winning opportunities without requiring all main numbers. The lowest division (Div 6) only requires matching 1 main number plus both supplementary numbers!

📋
Prize Rules & Important Information
  • Division 1 prize is a fixed $1 million per winner — not shared like most lotteries
  • Up to 6 winners can each receive the full $1 million from a single draw
  • If more than 6 players win Division 1, the $6 million pool is divided equally
  • Division 1 prizes do not roll over — the fund accumulates in reserve until paid out
  • If reserves are insufficient to pay $1M each, The Lott subsidises the shortfall
  • Available in all Australian states and territories (excluding Queensland and WA for some platforms)
  • All Weekday Windfall winnings are 100% tax-free in Australia
